No tension, no growth

Growth can be a little bit like a rubber band. It stretches, then it tightens. Both qualities, together, make it a handy little tool. It works precisely because of the tension.

No tension, no growth.

Where is a lack of growth holding you back right now?

What would it look like for you to push your own edges to the point where, yes, there’s tension, but that tension might unlock your capacity to improve?

Got the visual? Perfect. Now go do that thing.

(Worth noting: Pushing yourself too far too fast can cause the rubber band to snap. Slow and steady wins the race. But keep pushing. Stretch. Feel the tension. Let the other side of the rubber band bounce back. Stretch again.)
